Hong Kong Stocks Climb to One-Week High Print

Hong Kong stocks rose, lifting the benchmark index to a one-week high, after China Resources Land Ltd. and China Construction Bank Corp. reported higher profit.

China Resources Land, a state-controlled developer, advanced 4.9 percent. Construction Bank, China’s second-largest lender, rose 1 percent. China Shenhua Energy Co., China’s largest coal producer, rose 3.2 percent on expectations demand for coal burned for electricity generation will increase as droughts reduce the output of hydropower plants. Flyke International Holdings Ltd., an athletic-shoe producer, leapt 14 percent on its debut.
